What will the future hold?

Okay, Kate Anderson is forcing me to join the world of blogging, so I'm giving it a shot. Thanks, Kate! No, really, though, I think it will be a good way to keep in touch with everyone. Well, we're still in Laramie, although we still don't know for how long. We both graduated in May, Steve with his Juris Doctorate (Law) and me with my Bachelor's in Psychology. We're excited to be done with school, but a little apprehensive about the future. We've been accepted into the Army JAG, but we're still not sure the Army is the right road for us right now. We have applied to a lot of other jobs and are waiting now to hear from someone else. We have sold our home on Crow and we close on July 11th. So, basically, the Laramie Smith clan is jobless and soon to be homeless. Yes, it sounds bad, but we're optimistic and know God will take care of us. We will probably be getting an apartment in Laramie until we find a more permanent location. We have come to really love Laramie, so we are not in a big hurry to leave. We've met such wonderful people here - Andersons, Smiths, Orcutts, Hydes, Hoopes, Meads...the list goes on and on. We have learned something different and valuable from each one of these families and we will miss them very much. But for now we're still proud to be called Laramites.
